           Fred Dafler & Rick Haddix Scholarship Application

 

These scholarships are awarded to a child or relative of a member of the OT&F&CCOA that is planning to attend or already enrolled in an institution of higher education as a full time student. The selection criteria includes leadership qualities, athletic participation, reliability, sportsmanship, scholastic achievement and extra curricular activities.

           Contributor Award Application

​

These awards will be presented to persons who have made a positive contribution to the sport of track and field and/or cross-country. Any track and field official, athletic administrator, physician, trainer, sports writer, tournament manager, and others are eligible.  Each nominee must exemplify the highest standards of moral character, ethical conduct and sportsmanship.

           Fredrick E. Cope Award Application


The Fredrick E. Cope Award is presented to a Track & Field/Cross Country Official who is a respected and enthusiastic promoter of the sport of Track & Field/Cross Country. Fred Cope, or F.E., as he was known by most everyone, was an outstanding athlete, teacher, coach, athletic director and track official. Fred was inducted into the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches' Hall of Fame in 1971 and the Ohio High School Athletic Association Officials' Hall of Fame in 1992. He was the first in Ohio to direct a district track and field meet for 50 consecutive years and was the head inspector/umpire at the state track meet for 30 years.

           Joe Lenge Service Award
The Joe Lenge Service Award is presented to a Track & Field/Cross Country Official whose service and dedication to our association and membership goes well above and beyond the call of duty. It was created in 2018 to honor longtime friend, fellow official and Executive Committee member, Joe Lenge.
